As a result of the Iraq war, is Britain or the US benefitting from Oil extraction?

No. Oil output is actually lower than it was before the war. Oil pipelines are consistantly bombed by insurgents and protecting their entire length is very difficult. Until this stops, no one, neither Iraqi's, US or Britain will ever benefit from oil extraction in Iraq.As a result of the Iraq war, is Britain or the US benefitting from Oil extraction?
Hahahahaha. You really don't know anything about the war. Report Abuse

No, but certain people close to Bush are..
Not that I can tell. The price of gasoline for our cars has tripled sense this all started.
ABSOLUTELY NOT !

Anyone that says otherwise does not know what they're talking about... !
the oil companies and the government might be, but the motorists are still paying through the nose for a gallon of petrol.
No. Not in the slightest.

We are being hurt by higher Oil prices.
multinationals are world wide dude ,how much of that 30 tons of 100 dollar notes we sent to iraq ,bought stocks and shares that can live anywhere bahamas dubia ,iraq ,saudi arabia you name it elites can live anywhere

those who gain is anyone with the money to buy the shares [those elites who get our pension funds then buy the sock and use it to vote for the huge bonuses for thier stock marketeering masters/bankers big buisness school buddies , lawyers, public servants ,docters
Since it's obviously not an either/or question, the answer is No. The land is too war torn for oil extraction to be as safe as it was, since the government in their country no longer has the major control of oil with the guns to protect it.
i do , when the usa and its allies, invaded iraq one of the military objectives was to secure the oil fields and pipe lines. so if they are not benefiting from it. why secure it 24/7.
